Important Notice - DMPE End of Life
As you may be aware, Dragon Medical Practice Edition has not been available in the UK since September 2022 and critical updates for the product stopped in September 2023. During this time, NHS England have campaigned to have software removed if it is not receiving critical updates, and Nuance (now owned by Microsoft) have now assisted with the campaign by announcing the end-of-life of the product, effective from the 31st of January 2025.
What does this mean for you? - If you work at one machine, and use the software often, it may continue to work, however, if you attempt to use it on a workstation where you have not used it before or reinstall/move the software, it may stop working.
What are my options? - To ensure an uninterrupted clinical workflow and continued access to the advanced speech recognition technology you are used to, we strongly recommend subscribing to Dragon Medical One. The cloud-based replacement.
