DLA – Network Requirements
URLs and TCP ports
Applications:
- Network access to sas-uk.ordiginal.com via port 80 and 443.
- Web browser access to to Nuance Management Server (NMS) at nms-uk.ordiginal.com via
port 443.
Optional:
- Dragon Anywhere Mobile requires access to nms-uk.ordiginal.com via port 443.
Bandwidth
Applications:
- 80 kbps between the Dragon Legal Anywhere client and the data center.
- Virtual via Nuance virtual extension: 28 kbps between the client PC and the server/virtual desktop
where Dragon Legal Anywhere is installed. - Virtual via a native audio channel: Up to 1.4 Mbps between the client PC and the server/virtual desktop where Dragon Legal Anywhere is installed.
Optional:
- Dragon Anywhere Mobile: Approximately 12 kbps between the mobile device and the Nuance data center via WiFi or 3G/4G/LTE.
Latency:
- Network latency between the Dragon Legal Anywhere application and the Dragon Legal Anywhere server must not exceed 200 ms. Ideally latency should be below 100 ms for acurate speech recognition to take place.
- In virtualized environments, network latency between the client PC and the virtualized application/virtual desktop must not exceed 50 ms.
Dragon Legal Anywhere resides in either the South UK or West UK datacentres, listed below is the latency between your machine and all Azure datacentres, the South UK and West UK should always be listed at the top, and will give you a rough idea of you current latency.
